Coalition for Recreation, Education, and Wellness (C.R.E.W.)-Bullitt County

Bullitt County’s Coalition for Recreation, Education, and Wellness (CREW) is a community-based partnership that brings together organizations, government agencies, schools, businesses, and residents to promote health, wellness, and lifelong learning through recreational and educational opportunities.

  • Recreation: Expanding access to parks, sports, fitness programs, and outdoor activities to encourage active lifestyles.

  • Education: Providing learning opportunities such as health education, nutrition programs, literacy initiatives, and life skills training.

  • Wellness: Supporting community health through initiatives like mental health resources, substance abuse prevention, and public health programs.

Bullitt County History Museum

The Bullitt County History Museum is a volunteer operation provided through the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, a 501c3 organization. Located in the county courthouse, all displays and staff are provided by the Society as a free public service.  Extensive historical and genealogical resources are available in the research room.  Funding is primarily through donations. Free tours available.  Operating hours are whenever the courthouse is open; generally weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Closed holidays.
