Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) provides a world-class educational experience to its approximately 13,000 students across 23 schools. As the 7th largest district in Kentucky, BCPS employs over 2,000 certified and classified staff who are dedicated to the district’s mission: “to inspire and equip our students to succeed in life.” The BCPS structure includes 13 elementary schools (kindergarten through fifth grade), six middle schools (grades 6-8), and three comprehensive high schools (grades 9-12). The district also offers specialized programs such as the Bullitt Advanced Math and Science (BAMS) program, Riverview Opportunity Center (ROC), Bullitt Alternative Center (BAC), Bullitt Virtual Learning Academy (BVLA), and the Area Technology Center (ATC). Ultimately, Bullitt County Public Schools is focused on Moving Forward by ensuring students acquire the necessary academic knowledge and develop the BCPS Graduate Profile competencies.
